Hello.. and Happy Spring! The forecast is calling for some spring or even summer-like weather over the next couple of days. It seems long overdue. I am happy to report that things have started to pick up for the spring real estate market on Cape Cod. Without jumping to conclusions or making any strong predictions about the exactly when and to what degree the market will turn around here on the Lower Cape, I will say that we have seen more activity in the last few weeks than we’ve seen in months. This is good news. We can only hope that buyers will take advantage of the favorable interest rates, tax credits for first time home buyers, and lower prices than we’ve seen in years. Quite possibly a little bit of summer after a long winter will also help boost consumer confidence. It’s a great time to buy, and with the increase in activity, it can also be a good time to sell.
